On December 17, 2010, a male suspected of fraudulently using credit cards was observed by a senior West Vancouver Police Detective at a local business.
The male purchased an item, left the store and entered a vehicle. The Detective recorded the licence plate and conducted an investigation.
The Detective determined the credit card used by the suspect to make the transaction was stolen. The Detective established the identity of the suspect, located and arrested him on Dec 30, 2010 for using the stolen credit card.
Arrested and still in custody is 42 year old Yazid BOUMENDJEL . Charges in relation to this incident will be forward to the North Vancouver an Provincial Court at a later date.
